Is your landlord increasing your rent yearly?
He is saying pay the new amount or move out.
Are you itching to move but you don’t have the strength to start looking for a new place with all the agent issues?
You had made up your mind that the next compound you will move into is your own plot.
But it’s not feasible because you keep pushing the money you saved for foundation to another family issue.
Now your rent has increased again.
What you can do now:
If you already bought the land, get money, fence it and put gate.
Now use container (Yes! The regular load container you know e.g 40feet container) to design 2 rooms and a parlour with kitchen and toilet.
You will need to create a concrete platform where the container will sit on and fastened to, to avoid sinking into the earth with the weight of human beings or being blown away by storm.
Also this keeps surface run-off from entering into your space.
A welder will cut openings for windows and doors. Fabricated doors and windows to be adequately installed.
For mechanical waste:
Then build a soak-away pit and connect your toilet to it.

This same pit will serve the main house when you are ready to build, so be careful with the location.
Once this is done, apply to your Electricity distributor for prepaid metre.
You can also install solar panels on the top of the containers for lights and charging points.
You will need timber or steel/aluminium (depending on what you can afford) to frame your interiors, and Styrofoam for heat/cold insulation.
For water supply:
Install a water tank just above your window top height, dig a borehole and connect to the tank and you have running water inside your home.
That’s it. House is set. Move in and leave that landlord with his new rent.
You will never be worried about landlord issues again. You’re living in your plot henceforth.
Use the remaining part of the compound as your farmland or garden until you are ready to build.
What you can do tomorrow:
Tomorrow when you build your dream home, you rent out the home container or keep it for your staff or visitors.

If you bought a land in a place where they are pushing you to build fast and occupy, you can still do this and move.
You are already in the plot. They can’t claim it anymore.
