Hello there! My penname is Sunner.
I’m an Architect, Farmer, Interior Organizer and a Voice-over Artist.
I started MyDesignGist a.k.a MDG in 2021 to educate Clients/Readers about the various ways Architects play a major role in their lives.
This desire began during a meet and greet session in a business meeting I attended in Nigeria. I introduced myself as an Architect to this lady and she asked me “what does an Architect do?”
Frankly, I was shocked as I thought people that attended such meetings should know who an Architect is and for a few seconds, my mind went blank. I recollected my thoughts and answered her, then the idea to intimate more people came to me and this blog was born.
I have visited a lot of architectural blogs and most where focused on helping and training Architects and student Architects. It was difficult to find blogs that addressed it’s Clients except for display of building designs and portfolios.
I chose a different architecture niche for this blog, to help Clients understand the roles and the place of Architects in their lives. No more confusing an Architect for an Engineer.
I started an Architectural firm known as VolArchy which focuses on creating healthier and happier lives through building designs. I have published an e-book to help Architects create contents for their social media, blogs or websites. You can find it here.
I enjoy organizing interiors. It’s the first thing that comes to mind once I enter any space. I literally start making mental sketches on possible organizing ideas for your space. This led to starting a subsidiary of my architectural company known as BeyTidy.
I love agriculture and I started a small food storage business called FarmBey. I also intend exploring working with a few farm products like Tiger-nuts and Tomatoes.
If you are new to this blog, my Entrepreneurial journey started with the desire to explore business opportunities that sitting down in an office could not afford me.
